Matthew Preble, Chef De Cuisine
Serving in the kitchens of 22 Bowen’s and sister restaurant, the Smokehouse Café, Matt has been an integral part of the Newport Restaurant Group for several years.
Prior to being named Chef de Cuisine, Matt served as Sous Chef, where he was heavily involved in daily culinary activities, including menu creation. Before that, Matt served as Sous Chef at 22 Bowen’s sister restaurant, the Smokehouse Café.
Matt earned a B.S. in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. He currently resides in Newport, RI.
