22 Bowen’s is excited to present our Wine & Whisky Tasting Series to showcase some extraordinary vintages and spirits. National representatives will be on hand to guide you through their products and help answer your questions.
Tastings will take place from 6:00-8:00 in a “come-as-you-please” format. Light snacks will be served and there will be a 25% discount on dining after the event. Cost is $50 per tasting or $300 for a Season Pass which will get you into all tastings. And, thanks to a retail partnership with our friends at Bellevue Wine & Spirits, all attendees will receive a selection card which can be used for 10% off bottle purchases, 15% off half case purchases (6 bottles) or 20% off case purchases (12 bottles) at Bellevue Wine & Spirits.

Thursday, 10.17.2019 – Whistle Pig
“WhistlePig began when we purchased our farm in 2007. After a few years of deep consideration and personal reflection we committed ourselves to crafting the world’s finest and most interesting Rye Whiskeys. With help from Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, we discovered and purchased an incredible stock of 10 year old blending Whiskey in Canada that was being profoundly misused. That initial stock, for which we are forever grateful, is what kicked off our grand adventure.” We will be tasting: 10 year NRG cask/ Farmstock Crop 003/ 12 year “Old World”/ 15 Year straight rye/ Boss Hog V “The Spirit of Mauve”

“Thanks to natural alchemy and centuries-old craftsmanship, The Balvenie is unique among single malts. Our whisky-making process is dedicated to maintaining the Five Rare Crafts and we are the only distillery in Scotland that still grows its own barley, uses traditional floor maltings and keeps both a coppersmith and a team of coopers on site. And of course, our Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE presides over the all-important maturation process. “Founded in 1997, Jefferson’s is the brainchild of Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, a famed bourbon historian. They were continuing a family tradition that goes back to Trey’s 8th generation grandmother who was arrested in 1799 for the “production and sales of spirituous liquors.” To personify the brand, they chose Thomas Jefferson—known for his curiosity and experimental spirit. This is a mindset to which Trey has dedicated himself, pushing the boundaries of the definition of bourbon.
